SAT – October 13, 2021 for ALL Seniors

 

ACT - www.act.org  Sign up for the ACT if you would like to retest to improve your scores. 

 

ASVAB - November 11, 2021

 

FAFSA deadline for 2022:  Opens October 1, 2021, and closes June 30, 2022

 

College Fair - October 7, 2021  1-3:00 pm Stay tuned for updates

 

Balfour cap and gown  – Bring money to cafeteria on October 19th during lunches.

Balfour will be here at LHS on Tuesday, October 19th during all lunches to take ordersfor caps and gowns and other senior products. Seniors will receive a packet of information on campus, and below you will find a digital catalog that shows all of the products offered.

Green & White Scholarship Applications:  Student/Parent Meeting will be in November

 

TSIA:    Will be offered to LHS students in the fall and spring this year.  First TSIA will be given on October 20th.

 

Students planning on attending college: College applications open August 1, 2021.  Apply online at applytexas.org Create your account and log in to apply. Once you apply, be sure to send your official transcript and any official test scores that you will be using along with your TSIA scores. If you are unsure of what college to select, create a list of your top 3 colleges. Visit your colleges or do a virtual visit before you attend.  Advisors can provide information also.

Please turn in your college/military/vocational/technical school acceptance letters to your advisor as you receive them. Advisors will post this information to our We are Accepted list. 

 

Seniors have 2 college days that can be used for college visits.  These must be pre-approved by your AP prior to the absence.
